COMPETITIVE PLAY
For the elite players of SXVI
So, you’ve mastered Slate XVI? You’ve unlocked all current configurations and even committed some to memory. You understand every piece and how they work with one another — Congratulations. You’ve only just begun and may now enter the world of competitive play…
Competitive play entails a preset board with a single key piece. This piece is unable to be moved — The goal is to construct a solution around it as fast as possible.
Tournament Style
Tournament Style builds upon competitive play, allowing players to compete head-to-head through a series of presets to earn points. Both players are presented a key piece position and must complete it before their opponent to score a point. A match ends once a competitor reaches the point target which may vary depending on the level of the competition.
Once you have unlocked every solution you are granted access to competition mode and may register for future tournaments.
